I get YouTube Interviewed
On Friday afternoon I sat down with Martin Gould Cummings. He's a New York actor who has started interviewing nyc gay activists, focusing on the Broadway Community. He recently spoke with Billy Porter. Yesterday he spoke with me.

Palin 2012
Sarah Palin launched her new PAC today - SarahPac, moving her 2012 campaign forward. There isn't any actual content or policy. She's probably saving that for her upcoming book. But, the site does allow you to contribute money that "will allow Gov. Palin to help find and create solutions for America's most pressing problems." Frightening.
Her logo appears to be Alaska literally smothering America.

The Hill: Gillibrand: An Elephant in Donkey’s Clothing
My latest from The Hill:
Gov. David Paterson (D) has shocked progressive New York today with his pick of Rep. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) to replace Hillary Clinton in the U.S. Senate.
Gillibrand's conservative credentials may have been neatly scrubbed off Wikipedia (more than 50 edits in the last 24 hours), but they won't remain hidden. She has called her own record "one of the most conservative in the state," and has voted for such right-wing legislation as the repeal of the D.C. semiautomatic weapon ban. Her positions on immigration, gay marriage and the Iraq war are all questionable. And that's just to name a few.
Gillibrand may represent her conservative district fairly, but she has no place holding statewide office in a state like New York, which voted 62 percent for Obama. Paterson has guaranteed a contested Senate primary in 2010 and is continually opening himself up for a primary challenge.

Stringer Bell joins 'The Office'
Idris Elba, who played bad ass Stringer Bell on the best show ever -- The Wire, is joining NBC's The Office. I can't wait to see what develops between his character and Michael Scott.

Just When You Need It
Living in Bushwick you see all sorts of things that you wouldn't in Manhattan. I took this photo yesterday at my local Rite Aid. I love how they are just temporarily out of stock.
